The Spring Festival is a time for family reunions and the most important traditional festival in China. While many people travel home to celebrate the New Year with their loved ones, a group of employees from Zhejiang Energy Marine Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (ZEME) remain on duty at various shipyards both domestically and internationally, presenting a bustling scene of hard work and dedication. Statistics show that during the Spring Festival alone, ZEME had 43 shipsets undergoing desulfurization modifications in various shipyards, setting a new record for the highest number of in-progress projects!
Despite the festive season, ZEME has continued to organize and carry out production work systematically. The company has been working closely with partners at shipyards both domestically and internationally to ensure production does not stop during the holidays. Efforts are being made to expedite production and ensure timely delivery: Project managers are updating project logs and tracking progress late into the night; technicians are racing against time to finalize project drawings; commissioning teams are providing 24-hour service on board to ensure successful sea trials before leaving the ship; and the procurement department is coordinating with suppliers in advance to minimize the adverse effects of reduced logistics and manpower during the holiday period. Whether on-site or far away, whether front-line personnel or support staff, whether ZEME’s employees or partners from shipyards and suppliers, everyone is working together toward a common goal – to fulfill customer trust and ensure project delivery.
Driven by the spirit of "spare no effort to ensure delivery and race against time," ZEME successfully completed sea trials and deliveries for five desulfurization projects in just the first two days of the Spring Festival holiday. This not only eliminated any concerns customers may have had about potential delays due to the holiday but also earned the company praise and trust from its clients.
The impressive performance ZEME has delivered during the Spring Festival would not have been possible without the strong support and silent contributions of partner shipyards and suppliers. They sacrificed their vacation time and the opportunity to be with their families to help set this new record. However, 43 is not the end but rather a new record to be surpassed.
With the beginning of a new year, ZEME extends belated New Year greetings and thanks to all its clients and partners. The company looks forward to continuing this journey with them as it sets new records and achieves even greater heights in the future.
